Sometimes a product is offered at a high price for a long time and hardly anybody decides to buy it. Most people just can"t afford it so they choose cheaper alternatives or wait patiently till the price is lower. Finally, a new model of the same product appears on the market and the older one has to be sold out. What do manufacturers and sellers do in such a situation? They lower the price, of course, sometimes significantly, in hope that the old products will attract potential customers if they are sold at bargain prices and that there will be soon space for the latest invention. A good example of this process is the rack shelf that appeared at our shops a couple of years ago. It was a quality shelf with lots of additional features. It was safe for the equipment and extremely durable but for some reasons it was avoided by professionals. He reason was simply: much cheaper models were available online at the time. They might not have been perfect, but not bad at all too, so most potential customers ended up ordering online. Today the rack shelf is much cheaper than those shelves available at other shops and we also started selling it online, which is a great convenience for a large number of customers.
